We have seen changes in how buyers buy, an influx of technologies to enable demand generation, an avalanche of data, the rise of content marketing, more reliance on marketing to drive revenue, and more. However, even with all of these advancements, marketers themselves have made minimal gains. Research studies for the last 6 years show that marketers continue to grapple with the same challenges year after year with only incremental improvement in results. And, a recent survey found that only 8% of marketers feel respected by their peers.
